I will be honest with you, things look grim. But there is always a chance for things to get better. When my sister was TTC she discovered that she too had fibroid and her husband a low sperm count. They went through every fertility treatment out there and sadly... nothing! But then one night after consoling each other over this a little miracle happened and they conceived naturally. She had her period all through the pregnancy and was shocked to learn she was 3 pregnant and with a healthy baby. Even with her rare case of still menstruating in pregnancy, of her problems conceiving... this baby was born a healthy 7 lbs 9 oz at 38 weeks.

It can happen. But if it does not... prepare yourself. Look into your other options for being a parent. I have 4 biological children myself and one on the way but I also adopted and I can tell you there is no difference in the love you have. You and your husband seem like good people so I urge you to keep this option open.

I also urge you to keep a couple things in mind. The fibroids you have can be treated and you may be very capable of having a baby... but your husbands low sperm count may be getting in the way. You can consider a sperm donor in this case. You and your husband need to talk about this. Also, remember that there are so many fertility options out there now there is almost always some hope. Good luck to you and lots of baby dust.
