I think you're over-reacting.

How much sleep do you get? Not enough sleep explains almost all of your symptoms.

How much water do you drink? How much caffeine? Too much caffeine and not enough water explain the rest...

Some of the symptoms you described are part of depression, even if you're being treated for it. I think you may just be noticing all these things because now you know all the symptoms. If you feel strongly about it though, have it checked out. Better safe than sorry.

Most of the symptoms you are describing are reactions to your anti-depressant.You need to talk to your doctor-describe all the symptoms you have here to him,If he is concerned he will change your prescription to one that has fewer of these symptoms. Also he needs to know MS runs in your family and he will do the needed tests when they need to be done.

You could be overreacting but i would go and ask a Dr and tell them everything you have said just to check.

Good luck :)

Hi Vira Nicole,

I hope that you don't have MS, but I don't think you are over re acting. Everyone thought my Mother was a hypochondriac, with various weird medical symptoms throughout my childhood and at age 59, she was unable to walk and was diagnosed with MS. She did start to walk again, with a cane, after 6 months, is now 85, still lives alone and drives.

I was 30 when she was diagnosed with MS and began reading about it and realized that I had been having visual problems off and on, for several years, consistent w/MS. The docs said i was depressed, hyphochondriacal (sp) etc. One neuro psychologist even said that I had conversion hysteria.
Eventually, I did get diagnosed by an MS specialist at UCLA, before MRIs were available, but when they became available, I, initially showed no lesions. That's changed over the years.
I would see a neurologist, especially since it is important to get on the disease modifying drugs as soon as possible, if you do have MS. I hope it turns out for the best and give my regards to your Mom.

Good luck.

I have just come off the medical treadmill after a stay in the hospital for a week with all kinds of tests through every body opening. I left the hospital sicker than I went in. I have RA, Lupus, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Sjogrens, Acid Reflux, IBS, etc. etc. The real reason I was put in the hospital was to resolve the pain down my left side through the back and around to the front and under my rib. I left with the same pain. I am allergic to morphine, so they shot me up with some other drugs. All this time, I had a severe urine infection that was not treated correctly and later after a culture, is not being treated as a servery drug resistant bacterial infection.

It's a mess. I feel I have the early stages of MS, but my MRI is clear except for a small spot on the right side. I saw the Neurologist today and he is convinced I don't have MS, and that I shouldn't worry about the MRI.

I'd sure love to hear your opinion on this.
